Content analysis: The film is about a young boy Charlie Bucket who lives a poor, simple life with his parents and grandparents in a small house close to the Wonka factory. For years the factory had been closed but then one day, the owner Willy Wonka decided to open it to five different lucky people who finds a golden ticket.

Narrative analysis: The narrative analysis of Charlie and the chocolate factory is based off of the book. the film and book helps to say an important message of money doesn't bring you happieness as charlie lives in a small, collapsed house with his family, but is a happy person who isn't selfish, spoilt, or rude , demanding person. The film helps show that all money does is make you angry, greedy, and spoilt as proven by Mike TV, Violet Beauregard,Veruca salt.

Reception Theory:The reception theory used in charlie and the chocolate theory is that when you read the book you get the message that money isn't going to bring you happieness and that it only brings greed to people. A young reader might not understand that message though as ,they're might be too young where as an older reader would understand and get the message.

Fan study: The types of fans that would like the film are the people who enjoy fantasy adventure films,   people who like the actores for example Tim Burton. you will find people who are fans of the book will be fans of the film or just people who really like the author Roald Dahl.
